Experience the wide variety of landscapes, spectacular forts and palaces on this 14Days journey across the rainbow state of Rajasthan. Visit the luminous white marble Taj Mahal that glows red at sunset and shimmers silver in moonlight. Traveling through the desert cities of Bikaner and Jaisalmer, we reach Manvar camp, an ideal base to explore the desert, culture and wildlife. In the evening we sit back to enjoy the local folk dancers. There’s also time to relax at the luxurious tents pitched overlooking the Chattrasagar Dam at Nimaj.
Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive New Delhi, India’s Capital, where you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel for overnight.
Day 02 Delhi – Agra
Check out from the hotel after breakfast for panaromic tour of Old & New Delhi. Drive to Agra, the mughal city in the afternoon.
Day 03 Agra – Jaipur
We start our day at sunrise with a visit to Taj Mahal by Tonga’s (horse carriage) followed by visit of Agra Fort. Later we leave for Jaipur enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Day 04 Jaipur
Morning is a good time to climb up to Amber Fort on an Elephant back (subject to availability). We spend the afternoon in the city to visit City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal and walk through the busy market streets of Jaipur.
Day 05 Jaipur – Bikaner
The drive to Bikaner is in the morning, leaving the afternoon for the visit of Junagarh Fort.
Day 06 Bikaner – Jaisalmer
Leave for the medieval town of Jaisalmer. Since you will be spending two nights in this beautiful desert town, the first day gives you a break from sightseeing.
Day 07 Jaisalmer
Morning we leave for an extensive sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. A walking tour of the fort, visit exquisitely carved havelis of Patwon, Salim Singh and Nathmal. Enjoy the sunset on the dunes with a camel ride.
Day 08 Jaisalmer – Manvar
An authentic desert experience awaits you today. Morning drive to Manvar Camp, a luxury tented camp in the wilderness surrounded by the sand dunes. Afternoon is dedicated for a village safari tour. The evening is livened with the local folk music and dances.
Day 09 Manvar – Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur in the morning. Afternoon we visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant thada and walk in the traditional spice market of the city.
Day 10 Jodhpur – Nimaj
Get ready for a truly royal experience today and drive for the tiny village of Nimaj. You are the personal guests of the Nimaj royal family. Accompanied by one of your hosts explore the farm, local temples and meet the villagers.
Day 11 Nimaj - Udaipur
We leave for Udaipur in the morning, enroute visit the exquisitely carved marble temples at Ranakpur. Talk a walk in the village in the evening for a first hand experience of rural rajasthan.
Day 12 Udaipur
The morning is dedicated to visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Crystal gallery, one of the largest collections of crystals in the world. The evening boat ride on the Lake Pichola is an experience not to be missed.
Day 13 Udaipur - Mumbai
Take the morning flight to Mumbai. The afternoon is dedicated to visit the cosmopolitan, yet traditional city of Mumbai.
Day 14 Leave Mumbai.
In the you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. |
