India is a country on every traveller’s list. For those of you seeking all the excitement of this fascinating country in a relatively short time, we are offering this special 8 day tour of the country’s most famous sights. The Golden Triangle Experience combines the imperial capital of Delhi with the Mughal splendors of Agra, visit the legendary Taj Mahal and the pink city of Jaipur, the capital city of the princely state of Rajasthan.

Day 01        Arrive Delhi
Arrive New Delhi, India’s Capital, where you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel for overnight.

Day 02        Delhi
Your tour today introduces you to the highlights of New Delhi & Old Delhi. Drive through the colonial heritage of Lutyen’s Delhi and visit the Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. The later part of the tour is dedicated to Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad, today known as Old Delhi. We visit Jama Masjid – Asia’s largest mosque, rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Chandi Chawk is a unique experience.

Day 03        Delhi –Jaipur
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Jaipur. Enroute we stop by at Samode, a lovely tiny village located just outside Jaipur. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the colorful markets of the pink city.

Day 04        Jaipur
Morning is a good time to climb up to Amber Fort on an Elephant back (subject to availability). We spend the afternoon in the city to visit City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal and walk through the busy market streets of Jaipur.

Day 05        Jaipur – Agra
Leave Jaipur after breakfast, just 40Kms before Agra we stop to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to scarcity of water. We reach Jaipur late afternoon giving you time to explore the city on your own.

Day 06        Agra
We start our day at sunrise with a visit to Taj Mahal by Tonga’s (horse carriage). Rest of the morning is free for independent activities. Afternoon we tour Agra Fort and Itmad-u-daulah. Return to the Taj at sunset to see it fired by a different palette.

Day 07        Agra – Delhi - Departure.
Drive back to Delhi in the morning. The day is at leisure for last minute shopping. In time you will be transferred to the airport for onward flight.
