Expolore the forts and palaces of India’s colorful desert state of Rajasthan plus the visit to the magical Taj Mahal. The strikingly bright saris and turbans are more dazzling at every turn, but every region has its own distintive color. Travel across the Pink City of Jaipur, Blue city of Jodhpur and finally to Udaipur, the city of Lake also called the ‘ Venice of the east’
Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive New Delhi, India’s Capital, where you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel for overnight.
Day 02 Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast we take a guided tour of Old & New Delhi. The sights include visit to Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, Presidential building, Jama Masjid amongst others.
Day 03 Delhi – Agra
The early morning express train takes you to Agra. Begin the day with a visit to Taj Mahal. In the afternoon we visit the Agra Fort. You can choose to return to the Taj at sunset to see it fired by a different palette.
Day 04 Agra - Jaipur
Leave for Jaipur in the morning after breakfast, enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. The evening is at leisure to explore the colorful markets of the pink city.
Day 05 Jaipur
Morning is a good time to climb up to Amber Fort on an Elephant back (subject to availability). We spend the afternoon in the city to visit City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal and walk through the busy market streets of Jaipur.
Day 06 Jaipur – Pushkar
Drive on the Pushkar after breakfast to see the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator according to Hindu mythology. In the evening explore the local markets of Pushkar.
Day 07 Pushkar - Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur in the morning, leaving time in the afternoon to visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswan Thada - the royal cenotaphs.
Day 08 Jodhpur - Udaipur
We leave for Udaipur in the morning, enroute visit the exquisitely carved marble temples at Ranakpur. The evening is at leisure.
Day 09 Udaipur
The morning is dedicated to visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Crystal gallery, one of the largest collections of crystals in the world. The evening boat ride on the Lake Pichola is an experience not to be missed.
Day 10 Leave Udaipur.
In time you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to onward destination. |
