As one enters the Malabar House, previously a Dutch colonial residence, one walks into a haven, painted in heartening yellows and whites and furnished with antiques and artworks to combine tradition and modernity seamlessly. While the smell of the spices – the centre of centuries of imperial trade fills the senses outside, inside one gets a personalized cozy feel.
