The Trisuli River is named after the mythological and symbolic weapon, "TRISULI" (TRIDENT) of Lord Shiva. The river originates in Himalayas flowing through the southern plains of Nepal, enters India to mingle with the Ganges and ultimately ending in the Bay of Bengal.
Trisuli is a splendid river for white water rafting with excellent rapids including technical ones and picturesque scenery with fantastic rock formations, typical villages, native and migrant birds can be observed from the river.
01 DAY RAFT
Early morning drive from Kathmandu Baireni to (raft put in point) 50 km.(approx. 2 hrs drive).Then the rafts are inflated and we load our gear. After changing into suitable attire we are briefed by the group leader; a few notable about the river, the technical now how to maneuver the raft and safety measures.
We begin rafting in a languid pleasurable fashion to get the feel of the motion on a raft. We encounter a rapid named "Snell's Nose", "Monkey" and many other small rapids are run before we end our trip. Lunch will be served enroute. Rafting end at Malekhu (70 km. from Kathmandu). Drive to Pokhara (140 km. approx. 5 hrs drive).
02 DAYS RAFT.
DAY 01
Early morning drive from Kathmandu Gajuritar to (raft put in point) 68 km.(approx. 2 to 3 hrs drive).Then the rafts are inflated and we load our gear. After changing into suitable attire we are briefed by the group leader; a few notable about the river, the technical know how to maneuver the raft and safety measures. We begin rafting in a languid pleasurable fashion to get the feel of the motion on a raft. Lunch will be served enroute. Overnight camp on river beach at Charaudi.
DAY 02
After breakfast we begin the second day trip. Lunch will be served enroute. Rafting end at Mugling (110 km. from Kathmandu). Drive into Tiger Tops (73 km. approx. 2 hrs drive).
05 DAYS RAFT
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Baireni rafting put in point. Camp at Malekhu for overnight.
Day 02: Camp at Majhimtar for overnight.
Day 03: Camp at Mugling for overnight.
Day 04: Camp at Gaighat (Near Narayanghat) for overnight.
Day 05: From Gaighat drive back to Kathmandu
